As many schools and organisations have strict firewall rules, you may need to ask your Internet provider or IT Help Desk to make a small change to their settings to enable access to our servers. Details of these settings can be found below.
If you are connecting from a home network, you will not usually need to take any special steps to get connected.
Connecting via a Web Browser
To connect via a web browser, please ensure the following ports are open :-
- Allow connections on TCP Port 80 – from all local IP address (via NAT) – to remote IP addresses 193.33.187.85, 193.33.187.86, 37.26.105.2 & 37.26.105.16
Connecting via FileMaker PRO or FileMaker GO
To connect using FileMaker products, please ensure the following ports are open :-
- Allow connections on TCP Port 5003 – from all local IP address (via NAT) – to remote IP addresses 193.33.187.85, 193.33.187.86, 37.26.105.2 & 37.26.105.16 – Application: FileMaker Server / FileMaker Go
- Allow connections on TCP Port 16000 – from all local IP address (via NAT) – to remote IP addresses 193.33.187.85, 193.33.187.86, 37.26.105.2 & 37.26.105.16 – Application: FileMaker Server / FileMaker Go
LGFL Customers
If your internet connectivity is provided by London Grid For Learning, you can fill in your school name and DFE number on the pre-filled LGFL MIP request form which can be downloaded here and sending it to your LGFL support contact.
